It’s time to recruit 2 people for the 2025 Summer Marathon County 4-H AmeriCorps/4-H Program Assistant positions. Are YOU interested?
Do you like working with youth? Interested in a youth development career? Just want to hang out with cool kids and plan fun things this upcoming year? Then join our Marathon County 4-H team as a 4-H Program Assistant from mid-May(flexible) to August 22, 2025. Option to continue service for an additional year may be available.
Program Assistants will plan and execute local programs such as camps, travel, summer school and so much more. They may even travel or attend state wide 4-H conferences. So many wonderful youth are waiting to meet you.
Details For YOU:
- Pay and Benefits:
- Total of 450 Hours: Mid-May to August 22, 2025
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with some nights and weekends; Flexible scheduling;
- Great for college students, parents, teachers, and others interested in employment with youth.
- Total Summer Pay: $5,000
- Education Award: $1956.35 (use toward tuition or school loans; can be saved for up to 7 years)
- Put them together for Approx. $15.50 an hour
- Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Connect with community partners to provide outreach programming via afterschool and other youth non-profits
- Collaborate with Marathon County 4-H/Extension staff in program planning
- Reporting program impact and evaluations
- Attend trainings and professional development as available
- Can be connected to your own college intern or experiencal credits
