Do you like working with youth? Interested in a youth development career? Just want to hang out with cool kids and plan fun things this upcoming year? Then join our Marathon County 4-H team as a 4-H Program Assistant from September 2024 – August 2024. Option to continue service for an additional year may be available.
The Marathon County Summer AmeriCorps/4-H Program Assistant position runs from mid September 2024 through August 2025. Program Assistants will plan and execute local programs such as camps, travel, summer school and so much more. They may even travel or attend state wide 4-H conferences. So many wonderful youth are waiting to meet you.
Details For YOU:
- Pay and Benefits:
- Total of 1700 Hours: Sept-August
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with some nights and weekends; Flexible scheduling;
- Great for college students, parents, teachers, and others interested in employment with youth.
- Pay: $21,5000 Living Allowance and $7,395 Education Award = approx $17 an hour
- Health Insurance & Childcare Benefits
- Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Connect with community partners to provide outreach programming via afterschool and other youth non-profits
- Collaborate with Marathon County 4-H/Extension staff in program planning
- Reporting program impact and evaluations
- Attend trainings and professional development as available
