Week of June 4:

There are numerous opportunities to participate with Marathon County 4-H within the next couple of months!

  1. Junior Fair
    1. WI Valley Fair: today is the deadline to select entries for 2018! Sign up is through https://wvf.fairwire.com/
      1. Code of Conduct and Education Logs (or YQCA) are due today—all other forms are due July 6
    2. Pre-Fair Music, Drama & Dance: Enroll via https://wvf.fairwire.com/ (Schedule and additional information will be sent out next week)
    3. Creative Writing: Entries due to UW-Extension office by July 13 (include Exhibitor Name, Club, and Class Number on back)
    4. We’re still looking for a superintendent for the Electricity, Mechanical Projects, and Computers Departments for the Fair. If you, or you know someone who might be interested please contact Kaitlyn at 715-261-1244.
  2. Camp Opportunities
    1. 4-H Day Camps: Start 2 weeks from today! Youth who completed grades 2-8 can enroll for camps in Wausau from 9-11:30 at https://marathon.extension.wisc.edu/2018/05/12/2018-4-h-summer-day-camps/ (Limited to the first 30 youth)
    2. Junior Camp: Experience “Camp Kaleidoscope: The Science of Color”  at Camp Susan July 18-20. Click here for more information. Sign up on https://wi.4honline.com/ through June 29!
  1. Statewide Opportunities
    1. Green Bay Packers Family Night: The Packers and WI 4-H are teaming up to offer 1,000 free tickets to WI 4-Hers for their 2018 Family Night on Saturday, August 4th (*This is during the WI Valley Fair). For more information and to enter for the free tickets please click here.
