Douglas Soldat is a professor of soil science and a turfgrass and urban soil Extension specialist. His research, teaching, and Extension programs are focused on improving nutrient and water use efficiency of turfgrass, as well as mitigating the hazard of lead contaminated soils. Doug joined Extension in 2006.
