  • Animals
    • July 1: M.A.S.S. Forms Due (Bidder slips, points logs, and YQCA certification, Master Stockman applications)
    • Dog Project Practices: Wednesdays in July
    • Horse Fireworks Policy: Same policy as in 2018 due to WVF fireworks on Tuesday
    • June Dairy Promotion: Funds available for clubs’ June Dairy Month activities!
    • Poultry: **Notice: Per the Wisconsin State Vet, “The Wisconsin Tested Flock status will not be lost if birds co-mingle with untested birds at the Fair. After the waiver is lifted, testing requirements will resume.”
  • Camp
    • July 17-19: Junior Camp
      • Junior Camp Volunteer Opportunities: Seeking adult chaperones and a camp nurse for July 17-19. Contact Kaitlyn if interested!
      • Detailed information and forms mailed out today to youth campers
    • Upham Woods Open Enrollment Camps: 3,4 and 7 day camping opportunities for ages 8-13
  • Horticulture
  • Leader Volunteer Opportunities: Contact Kaitlyn if interested
    • Seeking Leaders Federation Treasurer: 4-H leader manage finances, write checks, maintain records, create invoices, communicate with Federation, accountants and Extension office
    • Seeking Potato Booth Coordinator(s): Seeking an adult(s) to manage Marathon County 4-H’s largest fundraiser. Duties include scheduling shifts, securing supplies, prep and post fair work.

  • Fair Opportunities:
    • We are seeking volunteers to assist judges, superintendents, and staff! Sign up here
    • 3-week workers for the Fair: Help set-up, maintain, and take down the Wisconsin Valley Fair display areas. Must be 14 years old. Contact 715-261-1239 if interested.
    • Fair Residence Hall: Youth can register to stay in the UWSPW dorms through their 4-HOnline account
    • July 8: Animal Stall and Horse Stall Reservation forms due to Extension office
    • July 24: Cake Revue at 9:00am at 212 River Drive
